(All providing excellent tips for resolving the problem, thank you!). I am now thoroughly not enjoying the same 'tripping' fault as several other people on this forum. When I brought my new Bosch Classix 7KG WAE24368GB machine just over a year ago I researched the market thoroughly to ensure I got the ' most officially recommended 96% reliability' machine on the market at the time. I have no problem with car electrics but hate household electrics and to be honest i'm not really sure where to start. Upon reset, the unit resumed it's cycle, the initial relay (in the main front panel unit) clicked in and the cycle continued but the second the next relay clicked in the breaker tripped and everytime we reset the breaker tripped again. We also got a 1minute drain cycle to run fine aswell.įor some reason it started working again for a few months then last night it tripped the breaker out again. We managed to get the unit to perform a full spin cycle, the motor ran perfectly and reached full rpm. Unfortunately the internals are sealed into separate units and we couldn't really open them up without stripping the machine apart. With a machine that was trying to run out of the room during spin cycles I thought it was time to change the shock absorbers. It did this for a few days and we took the back off to have a look at anything 'obvious'. The machine ran for maybe a few minutes and tripped the breaker out again. Upon breaker reset the machine came back on and attempted to continue it's cycle. I use the machine maybe 2/3 times a week and a few months ago halfway through a standard 30/40 degree mixed wash the RCD in my house fuse box tripped. If not, replace the screw in the respective hole and tighten, checking the rest also in case of them being loose.I'm new to the forum, wonder if someone can help. Look carefully at the either end of the motor, compare the retrieved screw to the type on the motor then see if all screws are in place and tight.

Check the other concrete block, and see if all present and correct there.ĪLSO whilst underneath, look at the motor, (the large silver unit near the rear of the machine and has the drive belt for the drum attached. NOTE: Get someone to hold it whilst you look underneath, (FOR SAFETY). If all the concrete holes and screws are visable and tight, tilt the machine onto it's back feet.

Take out two small screws at the back and push the lid slightly back from the front of the machine, this will allow it's removal. TURN OFF AND REMOVE PLUG before taking the lid off. The other is the four long screws that hold the motor together. Have you just taken delivery of the machine? If so, did you remove the restraining/transit, bolts prior to use? If it's been in position for a while and working fine until now, the only two places that would require anything like a 3' screw, on a washing machine, would be to connect the concrete balance blocks to the drum, (although they tend to be Bolt type heads).
